I am a Ph.D. student interested in understanding tectonics through the study of sedimentary basins using stratigraphy, geo-/thermo-chronology, and geochemistry. My current projects are the development of the detrital monazite (U-Th)/He thermochronometer and its application to the Sierras Pampeanas Basin in Argentina, alongside previously established geo-/thermo-chronometers and complementary methods. In a broader context, this work aims to advance the understanding of polycyclic sedimentation and related proxies in orogenic basins.

My experiences include;

-
Basin analysis and Thermochronology (Ongoing Ph.D. project)
-
Igneous (Isotope)-geochemistry
-
Seismic Interpretation for Oil Exploration
-
Paleostress Analysis

-
Economic Evaluation and 3D Modelling of a Gold Deposit
-
Paleomagnetism Lab Work
-
Brownfield Gold Exploration (2 seasons)

Additional field experiences include;

-
Fieldwork in Sierras Pampeanas (ARG)
-
Fieldwork in Bixiling Geopark (Dabie Mountains, CN)
-
Reconnaissance for Active Tectonics of Anatolia (2 seasons)
-
Delta sequences and paleostress
-
Offshore sediment coring for Paleo- seismology/tsunami studies
-
Number of fieldworks in Western/Central Anatolia for various classes
